My thoughts about terrorism

I felt that the type of war in this modern world now would no longer be declaring war on another country but more on terrorism. In the recent years, many terrorism acts has happened. For example the September 11 attack at the World trade centre , Bali bombing, bomb at Madrid in 2004, blast of a London bus in 2005 and many more……. Terrorism had almost taken place in the hearts of Singapore. Without the vigilance of our security people and citizens, a blast would have already gone off in Singapore at one of the MRT station a couple of years ago. I have always taken Singapore’s security and safety for granted. The recent escape of a Jermiah Islam (JI) member, Mas Selamat kastari, had made me stop and ponder. Mas Selamat had escaped from Whitely road at about 4.07pm on a peaceful Wednesday afternoon . How on earth did he managed to escape from the detention area at whitey road when Singapore ‘s security at the detention area is so tight???? Had Mas Selamat outsmart Singapore’s government? Had our security people been too careless? This leads us to a massive manhunt for him. According to the media,Mas Selamat is the most cruel JI member in Singapore . He had originally planned to hijack a plane form Bangkok to crash into our grand Changi Airport.Our government had put in much effort day and night to search for this dangerous man who can caused much harm to us i
nnocent citizens. Singapore being a wonderful country, why on earth would he want to planned attacks in Singapore. His loved ones and relatives were also living down here. The reason could be that he felt that he was treated unjustly by the government or he just wanted to rebel and create trouble and destroy the peace in Singapore. I wonder how his families members would be able to cope with the media covering so much about him. ..=) I pray hard that he would be caught soon.
